I have been wanting to do this for a really long time, but the plan always got pushed back due to crazy work schedules. Finally, I was able to put it together, so here it is! =D ... Many of you have asked for it, so you know what to do =P

This forty page photobook features over 80 photos of my nanoblock creations and a short write up. It is professionally printed on 190g quality photo paper. I will autograph each copy and even personalise it with your name (if you wish) =)

nanoblock Leal Senado

Leal Senado in Macau =) ... Have you been there? ^^ 

The Leal Senado Building (Portuguese for Loyal Senate) was the seat of Portuguese Macau's government (Legislative Assembly of Macau and Municipal Council of Macau). It is located at one end of the Senado Square. More info in Wikipedia.

My XL nanoblock Maneki Neko and Shishimai

Here is my extra large nanoblock Maneki Neko and Shishimai that was specially commissioned for my exhibition in Liang Court mall in Singapore recently =)

The maneki-neko is a common Japanese figurine (lucky charm, talisman) which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. In modern times, they are usually made of ceramic or plastic. The figurine depicts a cat (traditionally a calico Japanese Bobtail) beckoning with an upright paw, and is usually displayed—often at the entrance—of shops, restaurants, pachinko parlors, and other businesses. The maneki-neko is sometimes also called the welcoming cat, lucky cat, money cat, happy cat, beckoning cat, or fortune cat in English. - From Wikipedia

Japan has a long tradition of the lion dance and the dance is known as shishi-mai (獅子舞) in Japanese. It is thought to have been imported from China during the Tang Dynasty, and became associated with celebration of Buddha's birthday. The oldest surviving lion mask, made of paulownia wood with an articulated lower jaw, is preserved in Tōdai-ji in Japan. The dance is commonly performed during the New Year where the lion dancers may be accompanied by flute and drum musicians. - From Wikipedia

Building Overtime!

Working overtime to finish all the exhibits for my exhibition later this month in Liang Court mall, Singapore from Nov 21-22, 2015 =D ... apart from my exhibition, there will be other activities like nanoblock building contests, so keep yourself free that weekend okay? ^^ ...

That's how my desk looks like right now, as I am rushing to build all my previous creations for some upcoming exhibitions. It looks like a lot of bricks, but it's still not enough to build everything I have ever created ... Hahaha ... nanoblock Steve Jobs Sculpture

I created the nanoblock sculpture of Steve Jobs below using about 1500+ bricks. It took me around two days plus =)

And yes, it has been pointed out to me how similar it is to Ghandi .. Haha ... So I did a Google search for "Steve Jobs looks like Ghandi" and here are pics that came up ... Hehe ...
